Big thank you to Wendy for arranging/organising the gathering at Beaulieu. Just got back (170 miles) and had a great day. Nice to get to a Stag event at last.

Sadly, I'll be going in the Saab tomorrow, I managed to break the Stag on the way home , it's suddenly developed a terrible shimmy from the front left, but only when turning left. Most peculiar! Spent an hour grovelling underneath and it's nothing obvious, so I'm braced for an expensive job coming up...

Anyway, I'd like to thank everyone who came today oris coming tomorrow, today went really well and I'm hoping for just as good a day tomorrow.

Hi Wendy

Check the drag strut.Mine went the other day on the offside,the bracket that holds the anti roll bar link had snapped off the drag strut.

Went to Beaulieu Saturday, Well done Wendy, good to meet you.Didn't know you were there Roger, met Maverick and Mrs. Maverick. Excellent day out, but poorly supported by the club with only 26 out of 40 cars required, many of those there travelled some distance too.
My bargain of the day was a NOS original FOMOCO V6 water pump complete with back plate for £20.

Hi All

I just wanted to say thank you to all those who came down to Beaulieu this weekend. I hope you all enjoyed the event, sorry I couldn't arrange better weather for today!

I hope that you all made it home safely, it's somewhat ironic that mine was the only Stag to break down (or at least, I hope so)!
