I am now much more aware and Pauls Cockpit scan is on my driving awareness agenda.
One Stag I had in the workshop had a module attached between the flasher unit and the column switch that made a much louder click. I thought that is a nice idea, especially as the "Carrot" pie tell tale is partially hidden by the steering wheel rim and my dinner plate left hand

All the cluster LEDs now removed and replaced with new filament bulbs. Full functionality now restored and all warning lights clearly visible
The 10-quid spent on LEDs was, I guess, worth the exercise and the fun-filled debate on hereNever to old to learn eh?
BTW I have one of those electronic gadgets fitted which starts beeping after a pre-determined (user adjustable) number of indicator flashes, so I am very unlikely to forget to cancel them after a turning.Last edited by DJT; 18 December 2022, 12:39.Dave
