Hi Paul, definitely not wiper related. I have the wiper switch connected and the wipers are working

I think it’s the wiring for the seat belt warning switches. But I can’t find a wiring diagram for that model of Stag.

Richard might be correct. Our good friend Julian Leyton picked this up in an old thread. It’s from the technical reprints.

Hi All so I pulled out some of my various other wiring loom bits. The loom that goes across the gauges on the one I had earmarked to fit (as it had the two later style 9 pin plugs on) is missing this 3 pin connector and also does not have the 6 pin connector for the hazard light switch. So I pulled another out of the box and this one has both the three pin connector (along with the two nine pin connectors and also has the 6 pin connector for the hazard. So this 3 pin plug clearly part of the hazard warning connections. I have fitted it and now have hazard lights, however no left or right turn indicators working as yet.

Don't blame you !!... So This was the dash loom that I had planned to use...

                            IMG_1482.jpg

But in my box of looms I found this one that does have that extra 3 pin plug

                            IMG_1483.jpg

And it also has the Hazard light switch plug (6 pin)

                            IMG_1484.jpg

So basically a later version of the dashboard loom that accounts for the hazard lights.

                            All very entertaining. !

Oh wow…..My specialty is engine parts….

Only playing catch - up with wiring parts….to be truthful.

Only just found out my wiper motor issues maybe caused by incorrect wiring on the new switch!

Very grateful for the info found here about that!
