Brake servo whooshing sound

Hi all, It would appear that my servo unit has an air leak in the diaphragm and needs replacing. Is it possible to repair it with the kits I am seeing on SOC parts and James Paddocks.
Has any done this repair or should i replace the whole thing .
Any suggestion would of great help, thanks

Watch out for the spring when you take it apart if you do repair. It’s quite strong

I'm always out to save money and saw the kit. The servo is now 50 years old. It is possible the inside could be a bit rusty. I had it rebuilt.

Quite possible but have now bit the bullet and bought a kit from Robsport as it is a third of the price of a recon one.

once the casing is apart it can be cleaned and assessed for rust hole. these can be repaired before it is reassembled.
