Seat belt light doesn't come on if no-one is sitting on the seat. It's only when someone sits on the seat that a contact is made to light up the warning sign. Put in the seat belt and contact is broken, therefore light out.

Hi ,I think the seat belt light is turned off when the seat belt is connected into its holder as this would be the only way to ensure the belt was fastend.Like ejector fantasy better though. Paul

Have you checked under the rear ash tray, there you will find two grey connectors if they are together they should,nt be. disconnect and the lightwill go out.If youhad your seat belts changed you may not have the original britax holder which has 4 wires from it, each pair attached to a grey connector which in turn attachto the respective connectors under the ash tray holder. I think This is correct , but i do stand to be corrected. hope this is of some use. Paul.
