Lovely car and end product but disappointed the lack of workmanship on the car, just lots of talking. Maybe they should have left the word restoration out as we didn't see any on hands work. Entertaining though.
it was always gonna be a waffle show it is TV, but I enjoyed it and loved the donuts 25k cars ripping up the black stuff great.as for the tech stuff Andrew, would of been good but probably would of lost them the wider audience. 9/10 from me
Beautiful early mk1 white tv8 mod? MGB GT and now looking for another V8
I know of most of the guys on that I will be joining them in the Cortina soon just want it finished now but the stag and spitfire keep getting in the way
Interesting yet somewhat disappointing with the lack actual restoration work shown. Nice bit of history and look at what the MkI Escort scene is like today.
Seems the only show with a proper amount of workmanship shown is still Overhaulin'... I'll anyhow very much look forward to the Stag episode.
Got it on series record. The first show is a bit different and enjoyable. Have you noticed that Bernie and Mario are back on Channel 5 with another series of shouting and miraculous car restoration? Tim Shaw and Fuzz Townsend are also on National Geographic for another series of Car SOS. And Mike & Edd have another new series on Discovery. We are being spoiled.......
I half - remembered mention of a new programme and thought I'd spotted it the other day. Turned out to be Bernie and Mario. I persevered until someone battered a Maserati front calper (Aluminium alloy by the look of it) with a big hammer to get the pads past the disc lip. Ten minutes later, with brakes miracuolusly 'fully restored', and those nice caliper dents clearly visible through the NSF wheel, I cancelled 'record series'. Needless to say, I declined the opportunity to enter the raffle to win the car.
Car SOS is still my favourite to date.

Steve

I do like the Old Skool Ford Scene it seems to be a lot more lively and they have good shows as well. There is also a good mixture of age groups in to the cars.
A lot of my mates and cousins all have old Skool fords too - Costworth powered Escorts and Cosworth Mk1 Cotrina 2 door
One of my cousins Escorts was the Meguiars car a few years ago also and in all the mags for year of so.
