300 mile round trip in the Stag today. Went paragliding about 45 miles South of here, and I managed an 84 kilometre cross country ending up in South Wales.
Unfortunately radio failure meant Judith had to spend the next three hours trying to find me rather than following me on the way, but I have always said she needs more practice driving the Stag!

Our trip with a local classic car group was cut short yesterday. A non-functional fuel pump ruined the fun. The Stag had to be towed home behind a VW, such a shame... I did get her running again about an hour later, but not too confident about it.Lotus Esprit Turbo SE 'Emma'

146 mile trip in glorious sunshine up the Exe Valley to Dunster and Dunster Castle. Then on to Porlock Weir, up the famous 1in4 Pollock Hill, along the coast to Countisbury for a late lunch at the Blue Ball. Afterwards on through Lynton to the Valley of the Rocks.

Can there be a cricket pitch with more spectacular surroundings?

The Stag reached a new milestone on the way home.

For a car that produces 246 bhp I think that is pretty damn reasonable!

I was going to pull out the centre console including the radio to unscrew the lever unit - so is it possible via ashtray to renew the cable complete.

As to what did I do with the Stag today - absolutely nothing as I am still aching, stiff, and sore from fitting a new alternator on Friday. Tomorrow though trying to get her started (she wouldn't on Friday) having now put more petrol in the repaired fuel tank, and saved a bit to squirt down the carbs.Last edited by Tdm; 5 June 2016, 16:14.
