Just had a lovely drive around Henley on Thames and local countryside, why do drivers still travel at 30mph in a 60mph zone??

The festival is on tonight until Sunday with some big names, well if you call Will Young a big name? But Shirley Bassey and Elvis Costello are performing.

I've had problems for a while with a strange vibration at 60mph. Ever since I fitted a recon diff and modified diff carrier. I had the rear tyres removed and refitted/balanced with no improvement. Fitted a new propshaft, no improvement. Today a local member left his Stag with me when he went to work so that I could do a full wheel swap to see if that helped; it didn't. So now it looks like I may have a problem with the diff carrier after all. I was hoping to resolve the problem without the hassle of taking that out again.....

I wonder if Bill would notice if I swapped my hood for his new one.......

Did you swap like for like Dave meaning originals for originals. I'm only thinking it could be possible to exchange the problem even if it was not experienced on the donor car. I would have thought the only way to be sure would be to try a good set of aftermarket wheels.

Yesterday actually but, got free tickets to Shelsley Walsh hill climb. Really good turn out, lots of people in period dress like Goodwood, and it's only 20 minutes away

They were originals for originals. They other owner gets no vibration at any speed and I exchanged each wheel for the equivalent on my car, i.e. FR for FR, FL for FL, etc. I used to have Minilite replicas and no vibration, but also had none with my wheels before changing the diff and diff carrier. I guess the next step is to put my old diff carrier back on...
