SO what did you you do with your Stag today?

Essex stag on tour met up with Somerset (East meets West) for Lunch pity about weather but what a great time a real nice collection of Stags enjoyed the company and food.
i will not post any Pictures around 21 Stags in all as Andrew and Gary where in charge of Pictures. I do know that they will get posted.

We went to the Weston supermare show on sunday ,its a charity event held once a month . It was a lovely show good weather and a few fellow stags from the Bristol club in attendance . Many thanks to Malcolm for the great company in his cobra

Hate to say this, but today for the 1st time my Stag got the thumbs down and I chose to drive the wife's Honda instead.

The reason being since returning from the U.K. have been suffering with constant pain in my limbs and don't know the cause. I couldn't bend down far enough to get into the Stag, and as the Honda is higher off the ground and easier to get into I chose to use that for my weekly Wednesday trip to play snooker.

Did wonder whether I would be able to play, but despite being not very comfortable moving around, I did win my match 3-2. I am taking Glucosamine and Ibuporofen at the moment, but it doesn't appear to be working. Maybe it is just old age setting in, and hate to think I will have to sell the Stag if I can't use it. Keeping my fingers crossed that it is just something picked up in the U.K. or on the plane home and it will eventually go.

I will be 74 later this year - is that too old to be driving a Stag?. My father lived to just a few days short of his 100th birthday, and he was walking fine every day right up to being taken into Hospital with an illness from which he then died. His father also lived to an old age, so don't think it is anything inherited causing my current problem.

If the hood is always stowed away you could install one of those electric slings used by the infirm to get in and out of the bath, mount on the back seat with the arm over the top of the T bar?
74....don't be daft, when my dad was 74 he was still jet skiing and driving a Lotus Esprit Turbo!
