By changing nowt but the slave I have been able to revert to using the middle hole on the cross shaft and the bite point is mid way on pedal travel.
I have seen new B & B clutch setup where it is all you can do to hold the clutch pedal down, not sure it will fix that issueStags and Range Rover Classics - I must be a loony

Currently If I go to the bottom hole its lighter but the bite point is near the floor, I'm thinking that if I go with this I will be able to at least go to the bottom hole and have it bite a bit higher... easy stage one.. stage 2 is the correct profile release bearing thar I have in hand but as its perfect Stag weather over here I'm awaiting the bad weather before I do that!
I'll report back..Terry Hunt, Wilmington Delaware

OK, I installed the long throw slave today, put it on the lower hole and the bite point is pretty good… however it’s actually heavier than my standard setup so the lower hole does not account for the extra effort needed. I have reverted to the standard setup.
At least we know now!Terry Hunt, Wilmington Delaware
