I wouldnt say difficult but i was upside down in the drivers footwell to undo the bolts holding it to the bulkhead last time I did one. There are probably easier ways. Cant remember if you can do it with the servo attached though

Yes you don't have to remove the servo. It's hard to get to the nuts in the footwell. It makes a huge difference when refitting
if you can have a helper on the other side of the bulkhead

My mechanic finally arrived to pick up the Stag keys, and tomorrow he will drive it to his workshop early in the morning when there is no or little traffic because of the brake problem it currently has (it won't fully stop). New shoes & cylinders are in the car to be fitted.

It has never been driven more than about 5 miles since he last took it to pass its ITV (MOT) the other month, and he thinks it was the ITV station that damaged the brakes as they shake the wheels about a lot during testing, and do things to it that the car would not normally encounter in everyday driving.

Should know tomorrow night or the day after if everything has been fixed. Can't do the brakes myself as haven't got the tools and lifting gear to do it. Next job will be new tyres all round and possibly new alloys at the same time.
