SO what did you you do with your Stag today?

Had 3 racks in 9 years, 1 of which only lasted 12 months or so! Tempting fate I know, but last one from LD Parts is still performing OK and must be 5 years old now. I know they're on holiday sometime soon, but give them a call?

Took my Stag back to the body shop to get the kerbside door properly rehung and the frames adjusted to better fit the hood when it's up. The gap was letting in the rain. Sadly without it this bank holiday weekend but then the traffic around here will be terrible anyway.

5/16 unc helicoil, refitted a manifold (not my car) .....waterpump was leaking previously, skimmed impellor & rebuilt......not yet running, ran out of time

Saw two Stags coming off the A31 at Ringwood today at approx 15.30hrs as we rejoined the main road from Fordingbridge. The red one was registered MKL454L ( I think ). The other was burnt Sienna both turned South towards Christchurch. Felt annoyed my Java Green machine was back at the body shop.

Drove from Bristol to Tunbridge Wells. Perfect weather, topless all the way. Didn't touch the motorway once.

Went to the Elan valley in mid wales for the day with the family. Fantastic scenery.

Sunday, took the car to Webbs Garden Centre, Droitwich for their Classic Car Show and spent Bank Holiday Monday, at The Plum Festival, Pershore, Worcestershire.

S.O.C. was well represented ( about 30 Stags ...ish ) though, I was parked up elsewhere with friends and family in other cars.

Wonderful mix of cars, trucks, stalls, events etc. etc.

Thought I'd try a different idea on my driveshaft splines..... instead of the rubbish rubber bellows we are currently blighted with, I have used some decent quality (British made) universal steering rack gaiters as the bellows, and instead of grease have filled the bellows with EP90.... the gaiters are fitted full length so should wet the shaft splines quite nicely...

What's the worst that can happen??
